I love Pinterest as much as the next girl, but sometimes, you just have to say “Oh, honey. No.” Which is the very apt name for this super-funny Pinterest board. My abs are sore from laughing, so I think that counts as a workout.
More fun that is funny: Amber of Parenting: Illustrated with Crappy Pictures has a new book! Since I regularly laugh until I cry when I read her awesome blog, I’ve already ordered my copy. (Here’s the tear-jerker I read today.)
I like this list of great ways to talk to colleagues, friends, family members — all the people in your life. It’s so simple, but so true. How far does “I’m sorry”, “That was awesome”, “I was wrong”, and “Can you show me?” go in making the world a better place? A long way.
If your day is not improved by this video of Kid President of the Pep Talk video fame visiting with President Obama in the Oval Office, I don’t know what will. Kid President was in town helping with the White House Easter Egg Roll, and stopped by for “small talk” and an April Fools joke on the press corp. I love this stuff. (Have I mentioned I am a major political junkie?)
“Kids can change the world. Grown-ups can change the world. It’ll go faster if we work together.”
